The Owners & Operators of Mountain Top Cottages & Campground
In 1987 Stewart & Dianne Robinson, along with their family, desired to leave the fishing industry and start a new endeavor. He sold his boats, fishing licences and family home, and then purchased the property only 5 minutes up the road where Mountain Top is located today. There have been many challenges over the years but with hard work and determination, they along with their son Darren, built Mountain Top into the vacation paradise it is today.
Dianne instilled in us the core value of Mountain Top as an affordable place where larger families can enjoy a vacation. This comes from the fact that Stewart and Dianne have four children and often found it difficult to find suitable and affordable places to stay with their larger family.
Stewart and Dianne still live on the property but have turned over the day-to-day operations to their son Darren (above top left), who along with his wife Tina (above top middle), their four children, Jesse, Joshua, Austin and Allison continue to operate with the same core values.
Being in the same business for as long as we have has enabled us to meet many families and create lasting friendships with guests. Many of those guests continue to visit Mountain Top year after year with their children, grandchildren and now great-grandchildren. This is why we continue to do what we do.
We love this property, are happy to share its unique beauty with others and hope to be here for many years to come.
